Is There a Timeline for Grief?
Sobre este episodio
Many people expect something to change after the first anniversary of their loved one’s death and for the pain to feel different. Yet grief does not follow dates or move according to a set timeline. In this episode, I share three important lessons: • The calendar can tell you how much time has passed, but not how you should feel. • Every person experiences grief in a unique way. • Feeling pain after the first year does not mean you are moving backward. Do not compare your grief or pressure yourself to feel differently. Listen to yourself with compassion and ask: How do I feel today? What do I need in this moment? Ligia M.
