When Your Loved One Lives Far Away
Sobre este episodio
There are distances that do not break our bonds, but they can still hurt. Living far away from our children, parents, siblings, grandchildren, friends, or from those who hold a special place in our lives can also bring a sense of loss. Not because a tragedy has happened, but because we miss their presence, their hugs, and those simple everyday moments we once shared. In this episode of Transforming Grief, I reflect on the grief that can arise when we live far from the people we love, and on the ways we can continue nurturing those relationships even when physical distance becomes part of our reality. I also share something I have learned in my own life: distance can invite us to become more intentional with our love, to value presence more deeply, and to find new ways to remain close. Because we may live in different cities, states, or countries, and still remain connected heart to heart. Ligia M.
