Sobre este episodio

The Torah introduces the laws of Shemitá and Yovel—the rest of the land, liberation, and restoration. In Bejukotai, the blessings and the consequences of keeping the covenant are presented. The context is the giving of the laws of Shemitá. The Torah emphasizes that these teachings were given specifically on Har Sinai. Har is not merely a geographical location; it is the elevated place where the supernatural becomes accessible and from which direction and instruction for life descend. The context is the giving of the Torah. The teaching comes after ascending the mountain. First comes the encounter; then we receive, internalize, and finally transmit. The shoresh describes one process expressed through different stages: the elevated point of encounter, the inward process that develops in hiddenness, and the ability to shape and communicate what has matured. The mountain marks the place where something higher becomes accessible. Gestation represents the period during which that encounter becomes internal. Teaching is the moment when what has matured within can be expressed and shared. We remember that the light of the Mashíaj is revealed only after it has been deeply formed in hiddenness. That revelation does not come immediately but emerges from a prior process of connection.
