Mental Flexibility and Grief
Sobre este episodio
After a significant loss, our minds often hold on to what used to be and resist what is now. While this is a natural response, that resistance can make it more difficult to adapt to life after loss. In this episode, I share how mental flexibility can help us navigate grief with greater compassion, hope, and meaning. I reflect on the importance of becoming aware of our thoughts, allowing ourselves to experience different emotions without judgment, and learning to live within a new reality while continuing to honor those we love. Mental flexibility does not mean forgetting. It does not mean loving less. It means learning to bend without breaking as we move through life’s storms. Ligia M.
