We Are No Longer the Same
Sobre este episodio
Losing someone we love can mark a before and an after in our lives. We keep moving forward, we keep living, but something within us has changed. And it’s okay to acknowledge that. In this episode of Transforming Grief, I reflect on what it means to discover and embrace who we are after a loss. I share three important reflections: • Moving forward doesn’t mean returning to who we were before. • Grief can deepen the way we understand, love, and support others. • Physical presence may end, but love remains and finds new ways to stay with us. We can deeply miss someone and still feel grateful for the life we shared. We can grieve their absence and smile at a memory. These emotions can coexist in our hearts. We are not the same, and we don’t need to be. Because loss is not the only thing that changes us. We are also transformed by the love we gave, the love we received, and the love we continue to carry with us. With love, Ligia M.
