## Sobre este episodio

Eric Lyon spent 35 years in the U.S. Army as a Special Forces officer and military intelligence leader. Six combat tours between Iraq and Afghanistan. He wrote a book about urban sniping under a fake name while still in service, went to Harvard to study climate change, did a venture capital fellowship in New York, and just published a book calling out the military industrial complex for profiting from the war in Ukraine. We talked about what six combat tours do to your mind, why the military gave him zero psychological support, writing under a pseudonym, what it means to lose your identity after retirement, why he chose to stay home for his two sons instead of taking another job, and the question he still asks himself: do you actually know who you are?
