Episode 14: Harsh Times, Pero Siempre Sale la Luz 💡⛈️

This week, we’re STILL recording from my Dad’s basement and thankfully, our power finally came back on Sunday. Also, Wednesday Zermes’ parents got theirs back too! 🙏🏽 We know many families are still dealing with the aftermath of the storm, and our hearts truly go out to everyone who is still without power or recovering from the damage. En estos momentos difíciles, queremos recordarles que no están solos. Aunque ahorita todo se sienta pesado, acuerdense que siempre sale la luz. 💕💡🫶🏼 The storm also made us realize something very important: WE ARE NOT PREPARED. 😭 From battery-powered fans to emergency supplies, we quickly discovered how many essentials we don’t have. Apparently, our emergency plan consisted of esperar y rezar. 😂 Hear how it did not work out lol. But this episode isn’t all storm talk! We also take you along to Nest Fest 2026, where we had the opportunity to hang out with Juancho’s Meat. Make sure to follow them on Instagram & place your orders: https://www.instagram.com/juanchos_meats/?hl=en Huge shout to Juanito & Lily, thank-you for inviting us! We were able to check everything out, and HUGE THANK YOU for allowing us to create a little promo for them! 🌶️🔥 We met some amazing people, including Cami, the queen herself! 👑 Make sure to follow her for all your vintage art and Chicago treasures. Follow her on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/revival_a_go_go/?hl=en She also raffled off an awesome vintage Chicago Bears jacket to support a dog rescue, making the event even more special. 🐶🐻💙 We also interviewed Crystal from Linked by Crystal, the vendor coordinator who helped bring together all the incredible vendors located inside and outside the bar. Make sure to follow her as well on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/linkedbycrystal/?hl=en inside was awesome! There was even a magic photo booth, but Zermes didn’t want to take a picture with me. 🙄😂 HE'S SO RUDE. And finally… we leave you with a little suspense about what may be coming next for Sueños & Reality. 👀 We’re not revealing everything just yet, so you’ll have to watch until the end!
