## Sobre este episodio

In August 1939, the world stands on the brink of war, and Picasso feels the full weight of uncertainty. As Paris ceases to be a place of celebration, the artist seeks refuge in the quiet town of Royan, carrying with him both his creativity and his fear. In this first episode, we explore how political tension, exile, and art intertwine in Picasso’s life, giving rise to the drawings in his sketchbooks—silent witnesses to a dark and turbulent time. A podcast by the Museo Picasso Málaga, produced in conjunction with the exhibition “Picasso: The Royan Sketchbooks” (31 January – 30 April 2025). #MPMPodcast #PicassoRoyanMPM #Picasso #ArtInTimesOfWar #History #Fear
