## Sobre este episodio

This Audio Podcast discusses Ivette García García's senior thesis paper exploring magic and ritual in the rural community of El Potro, San Luis Potosí, Mexico. It focuses on local knowledge about agriculture, embodiment, and interaction with the desert environment, including beliefs about witches and well markers. The research analyzes how this orally transmitted knowledge contributes to the survival and identity of the community. The complex interaction between traditional practices, religious beliefs, and external influences is examined. The work integrates anthropological, historical, and ethnographic perspectives to understand the rich culture of El Potro.
