Sobre este episodio

Competition seeks to ensure that markets work efficiently, and this is achieved when companies compete on price, quality and innovation to attract customers or consumers. While Artificial Intelligence generates competition and is part of the innovation sought in markets, over the last decade, there has been growing concern that algorithms may make it easier for companies to collude in price fixing. Moreover, due to the recent evolution of the generative AI, many other competition concerns have been raised by experts and competition authorities, such as exclusionary behaviour and anticompetitive mergers. In this panel we will explore the latest developments of competition law regarding AI. Speakers: Víctor Meyer Suárez, Iratxe Gurpegui and Christian Cockcroft Moderator: Rodrigo Alcázar Silva
