Welcome to our podcast. Today, we'll discuss the issue of Pablo Escobar's hippos in Colombia. In the 1980s, Escobar illegally imported four hippos for his private zoo. After his death, the animals were left in the wild and their population has grown rapidly. They now pose environmental and ecological challenges for the country.
