## Sobre este episodio

Why did Bad Bunny’s announcement as a Super Bowl halftime performer spark so much controversy? What political, cultural, and racial questions did it bring to the surface? In this episode, we unpack the heated debates around Puerto Rican identity, U.S. colonialism, and the persistent claim that “Puerto Ricans are Americans.” From Republican accusations of disgrace to Democrats attempts to revive the same old “Puerto Rico should be a state” narrative, we explore the deeper meanings behind the backlash. Joining us are Javier Hernández, Marielena Marroquín, and Julio Lopez Torres — all advocates for Puerto Rican independence and sovereignty... and yes, all Bad Bunny fans. Love the show?
