Sobre este episodio

In this episode, we review Canadian identity and Canada’s three founding peoples: Aboriginal peoples, the French, and the British. We also talk about First Nations, Inuit, and Métis, residential schools, official languages, Acadians, Quebecers, New Brunswick as the only officially bilingual province, immigration, religious diversity, and the idea of unity in diversity. The goal is to understand how different historical roots shaped a common Canadian identity based on law, democracy, and respect.
