Episode 191: U.S. Open Preview, Bud Cauley Gets 1st Win in Canada and Phil Mickelson in Trouble Again
Sobre este episodio
U.S. Open week is here, and the 2026 version goes to Shinnecock Hills, one of the toughest tests in all of championship golf. Will anyone get under par? Or will an over par score win like Brooks Koepka did in 2018 at +1? We will do a deep dive into the history of the U.S. Open at Shinnecock, the golf course and who we think will fair well this week. Bud Cauley got his first PGA Tour win this week in the Canadian Open. After a horrific car crash in 2018, Cauley has fought his way back and has finally won for the first time on the PGA Tour. Allegations of inappropriate contact by Phil Mickelson against a female staffer at The Farm Golf Club in California were reported this week. We talk about what is known so far and what Mickelson's lawyers are saying. Subscribe to the Break80 Podcast on Apple, Spotify and YouTube for weekly golf content. Learn more about your ad choices.
